Nano Update!

I'm at 22,061 words as of tonight folks. :-D

My blogger pal Rick asked for an update and this is it.

I have a local meeting on Tuesday evening. And another one in another part of the state on Saturday, so I'm looking forward to it. I've already been to two Nano meetings.

Nano is really cool. I like it more than I thought I would. Every writer should try it at least once, IMHO. ;-)

UPDATE: 11/23/09-(33,001 words as of today, folks)

You are doing great. Keep it up. I am at that word count myself although I am not playing this year. :)

The last time I checked, I was over 30,000. Seem to have hit a block now. It's really cool I agree though I been to only one meeting but the emails get me going.

All the best.

It's a rush, isn't it? I like using NaNo for that boost to get a project started that was just sitting and waiting.

Thanks, Harry. That's great you're writing too. :-D

Myne,
Great. Keep it up. :-D

Charles,
Thanks. I am. :-D

Christina,
It definitely boosted me to finally write this project. :-D

JD,
Several well-known, published authors participate in NanoWrimo. I have a friend who just got a publishing deal from a major publisher and has an awesome agent, and she is participating in Nano. So, Nano is not only for the unpublished masses. It's for everyone.

I love Nano!!!

Great word output girly! I think it's a great under taking to try and commit to something so big and great and the fact that you're actually following through with it is an amazing feat in itself.

Keep on shining!
Hinny

Yay, Tyhitia! By the way, I took a picture of a cat in China just for you.

You make NaNo sound fun. I'm a drop out from last year. Maybe I'll try again next year.

Kara,
Thanks. ;-)

Tony,
Awww. You still have time to grind. :-D If not, then, next year. You're still a winner for trying, i.e. word verification. ;-)

Lana,
Thanks. :-D

Bernita,
Aww, thanks. :-D

Marcia,
I will. Thanks. :-D

Robin,
Aww. Thanks, when do I get to see it? :-D And you should try Nano next year. The local meetings keep you going. :-D I made chewies for my Nano buddies. They really liked them. :-D I like to bake.
