Most of us have books that are near and dear to our hearts--books that we treasure and admire.
And there are some books that have yet to be read, but that pique our interests even though we haven't read a word.
I have always loved books since I was a very young child. My parents bought me books before I even knew how to read them.
I buy books quite often--so much so, that I've accumulated an awesome to-be-read pile, like many book lovers do.
I'll only list a few of the books on my pile because it would take forever to list them all.
Note: These are not books that I plan to purchase, these are books that I have already bought, and are waiting to be read at my house. :-D Here are a few:
THE GOOD HOUSE by Tananarive Due
THE OTHER BROTHER by Brandon Massey
STREET MAGIC by Caitlin Kittredge
DEMON INSIDE by Stacia Kane
HELL HOUSE by Richard Matheson
DUMA KEY by Stephen King
SKINWALKER by Faith Hunter (currently reading--it's awesome!)
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UNDEAD by Kim Harrison
THE KITE RUNNER by Khaled Hosseini
WINGS by Aprilynne Pike
THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins
CURSED TO DEATH by L.A. Banks
HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE by Jeaniene Frost
URBAN SHAMAN by C.E. Murphy
DON'T MAKE A BLACK WOMAN TAKE OFF HER EARRINGS by Tyler Perry as Madea
OFFSPRING by Liam Jackson
PUSH by Sapphire
ANANSI BOYS by Neil Gaiman
HEART-SHAPED BOX by Joe Hill
FATHOM by Cherie Priest
MONSTER by Frank Peretti
I have many more, in various genres. I have non-fiction, commercial fiction, literary fiction, a few classics, etc. I named mostly genre fiction (horror/sci-fi/fantasy) because it's my favorite. :-D
So, what are a few books on your TBR pile?
