Giddy

Sorry for the long absence. I don't know if you guys have read THE HUNGER GAMES or not, but I cannot wait for the movie, which is slated for release sometime in 2012. I also read the rest of the trilogy, with CATCHING FIRE being the second, and MOCKINGJAY being the third installment.

When I first heard about the plot, I thought it would be something terrible and disturbing, but instead it taught me once again to never judge a book by the premise alone. If you haven't read it yet, do it!! You won't be sorry.

I have a few more books I'd like to see adapted into movies, but THG is the one I'm really excited about.

Do you have a favorite book you'd like to see made into a movie? If so, what?

I love the Hunger Games books! I love them so much, I'm a bit nervous about the film, lol.

They were so wonderful! I stayed up nights until I finished them all, completely neglecting my family. They appreciated it.

I'd like "The Abhorsen Series" to be made into a movie!

Charles,
Yes, you should. It's in paperback now, so it's at a better price. I had to get the hardcovers though. :-D

Naomi,
Me too. ;-) Team Peeta or Team Gale?

Robin,
Yes, they are great! :-D I never heard of that series you mentioned. I will have to check it out.

Laughing Wolf,
Trust me, you'll love it. :-D

Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series. It totally rocks!

Oh, and I haven't read the Hunger Games...yet. ;-) With the way my reading has been going, I might not get around to it until after the movie comes out. *sigh*

These books were fantastic! I'm just a teensy bit worried, because not all books convert well to film and I'm not very familiar with the people they cast so far, but cautiously hopeful that it will live up to the books.

I have *not* read The Hunger Games, but they are on my to-read list. :D I didn't know they were making a movie, sweet! Lesse...a book I'd like to see be made into a movie? I don't think I have one. I guess my favorite books I'd never want to see made into movies, for fear that they'd be ruined. *shrug*

Marcia,
I've been meaning to read Vampire Academy but haven't yet. I already have the book. :-)

Jess,
I'm hoping for the best. :-)

Lana,
I love seeing kids read. :-D

Soap,
It doesn't bother me if a movie based on a book doesn't turn out well because the film can never change how wonderful the book was in the first place, IMHO. :-D
